Carpenter assistants or carpenter helpers are semi-skilled individuals who work alongside carpenters in a support role. Their job is to make sure that carpenters are provided with the right type of tools and supplies, so that the project that they are working on, progresses smoothly. He or she is also required to oversee inventory of carpentry supplies and equipment to make sure that everything is in order.
